Preschool Child Care

The Preschool Day Care Program combines the YMCA Preschool Program with excellent before and after preschool care. From 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, all preschool child care children participate in the regular Preschool Program. This program provides an extension of the Preschool Program offering enrichment activities geared to the preschool themes. We offer meals, snacks, rest time and additional outdoor play. The children will spend their day in a splendidly-equipped facility inside and out with loving, skillful teachers who are committed to working with parents to provide the best environment for preschool-age children. This program is only offered at the Altavista Area YMCA. Free swim lessons are offered once a week during the school year.
