	ALTAVISTA AREA YMCA: TENNIS

The YMCA tennis courts will be re-colored in late summer or early fall.

The Altavista Area YMCA is the home of three beautiful Premier Tennis Courts. The original courts were built in 1977 and the Premier surface was added in 2002 through a grant from the Minnie and B.B. Lane Foundation. The Premier court system guarantees no cracks and is designed to eliminate the “pounding of hard courts”.

The courts include a fiberglass practice board and lights are available daily until 11:00 p.m. Tennis lessons are offered at intervals throughout the year under the direction of Quintus Wade.
